2022 Session Descriptions

Creating an Employee-Centric Culture for a Post-Pandemic Workplace
Workplaces are very different than they were even a year ago. The pandemic has had, and continues to have, significant impacts as organizational leaders and employees have been tested mentally, physically, and emotionally these past two years. The competition for talent is fiercer than ever, employees have discovered they like flexibility . . . a lot, and employees have evolved their values and perspectives about work in general. Creating an employee centric culture is an imperative for employers that want to achieve exceptional workplaces. Learn how you can evolve your organizational culture to ensure that your employees thrive so your organization can prosper and grow.

Making DEI Real in the Workplace

Creating a workplace where diversity can thrive begins and ends with its culture. An inclusive and equitable workplace culture invites diversity and all the benefits it can bring to your organization. Join us for this session to learn more about why DEI is critical in organizations, and how you can get started or enhance your current efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable organizational culture.

Training & Development in the New Workplace
Not since WWII and the industrial revolution has the workplace and its workers seen such change, so quickly. Today, in a post Covid 19 world, learners have new, unique, distinct priorities when it comes to their development. What are learners looking for in this new workplace model? In this session, we will explore some of the emergent technologies, attitudes and norms of the new workplace and discuss how learning professionals might leverage and celebrate these new opportunities in training and development.
