FMLA: A Guide for Human Resources In Person Sessions

Description

Learners will interpret and apply policy requirements under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). This course outlines how to manage the forms, deadlines, policy requirements and medical certifications required under the law.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will acquire the skills to:

  • Understand the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) eligibility for employers and employees
  • Recognize when FMLA applies
  • Administer and document FMLA leave

Class Times

This class runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm local time on all scheduled dates.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Requirements:

 
  • In-person and virtual instructor-led training requires 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A $100 fee is charged if cancellation or rescheduling requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • Training Pass subscribers must provide 7 days’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. A $100 fee will be invoiced if notice is received less than seven days from the class or not showing to classes for which you are registered.
  • Virtual special events require 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A 50% fee is charged if cancellation requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • On Demand purchases are final and refunds are not available.
