Description

This course seeks to create awareness of how we listen and how listening affects relationships in all areas of life. Learners will identify their communication habits and improve listening skills by: staying focused, capturing the message, and helping the speaker.

Overview

  • Explore barriers and obstacles to focused listening.
  • Assess personal listening styles and approaches.
  • Apply the skills of following, reflecting, and attending.
  • Practice ways to become a less distracted and a more engaged listener.

Class Times

This class runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm Colorado Time on all scheduled dates.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Requirements:

 
  • In-person and virtual instructor-led training requires 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A $100 fee is charged if cancellation or rescheduling requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • Training Pass subscribers must provide 7 days’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. A $100 fee will be invoiced if notice is received less than seven days from the class or not showing to classes for which you are registered.
  • Virtual special events require 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A 50% fee is charged if cancellation requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • On Demand purchases are final and refunds are not available.
