Communication Skills101 Virtual Sessions

Overview 
This course enhances learners’ communication skills by developing self-awareness and applying practical strategies. Participants will explore personal communication styles using an assessment to gain additional insight and learn to engage effectively with different styles. The course also covers the roles of speaker and listener, the impact of intentions on discussions, and how to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues for more effective interactions.
Outcomes
  • Utilize assessment results to evaluate current communication skills and leverage strategies to effectively engage with diverse communication styles. 
  • Navigate the roles of speaker and listener to foster effective communication.
  • Apply strategies to ensure communication is received as intended.
  • Recognize and respond to communication cues, including non-verbal, verbal, and body language, to foster a holistic understanding of effective communication.

Class Times

This two-day class runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm Colorado Time on all scheduled dates.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Requirements:

 
  • In-person and virtual instructor-led training requires 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A $100 fee is charged if cancellation or rescheduling requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • Training Pass subscribers must provide 7 days’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. A $100 fee will be invoiced if notice is received less than seven days from the class or not showing to classes for which you are registered.
  • Virtual special events require 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A 50% fee is charged if cancellation requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • On Demand purchases are final and refunds are not available.
