Description

Learners will identify their needs and desires, and practice stating them clearly. This course examines ineffective aspects of personal communication and develops an assertive, clear, and direct communication approach.

Outcomes

  • Identify barriers and tools to apply an assertive mindset.
  • Recognize and manage ineffective communication.
  • Manage criticism and rejection effectively.
  • Facilitate difficult conversations confidently and manage conflicts responsibly.

Class Times

This class runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm Colorado Time on all scheduled dates.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Requirements:

 
  • In-person and virtual instructor-led training requires 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A $100 fee is charged if cancellation or rescheduling requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • Training Pass subscribers must provide 7 days’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. A $100 fee will be invoiced if notice is received less than seven days from the class or not showing to classes for which you are registered.
  • Virtual special events require 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund. A 50% fee is charged if cancellation requests occur within 7 days of the training. No shows are charged the full rate.
  • On Demand purchases are final and refunds are not available.
